It
has been a dream of mine to be able to give Desktop Themes away, and this is great! It
took a couple of years to be able to afford the internet, and while I was waiting, I made
themes. I started this site MARCH 24, 1998. It wasn't that hard to learn the codes,
because I used to be a typesetter. I live with four male cats, and two fish
aquariums..*
The
name "CORABUR" is derived from the first letters of each of my
cats, Cocoa,
Ralph, Butch and Romeo*. I'm also a Hippie, from the late 60's, and it is a thrill (more
like it's far out), to be able to make some rock themes with the "good" music of
years ago, and some of the "great" music that is coming out today. Since I have
had the website, now like three months, I have met so many great people, from all over the
world, and am very grateful for their friendships. Thank you again, for browsing around,
and come back please, because I'm adding new stuff all the time - Kathleen
(*A sad addendum; Cocoa, Ralphie and
Romeo, have since gone away, so this website Corabur Themes is now a real Monument to my
animals. Butchie, sits in my lap, most of the time as I keyboard away, we both miss our
friends - not to be forgotten, ever.)
:) - As of the Spring of
'99, I have added two new members to my family, two new young cats named
Vinnie & Dannie, boys.... Orange and White. So we are four again!
| AUG 6, 1998:
It's been a good four months now, running this website, and I have enjoyed every minute of
it. I have learned an awful lot from all my "cyberfriends" and hope that I can
continue to contribute good quality themes. Thanks to everyone for all your support.
JAN 11, 1999:
Hi, it's a new year, so I thought I would give coraburTHEMES an entirely new look. The
screensaver sections have been growing too. They are all guest screensaver links. I hope
some day to acquire a Screen Saver Toolkit so I can create some of my own.

24, 1999: Well, it's
my first year anniversary today. And I'll tell ya, I have learned alot over the past year.
It takes alot of patience and hard work to keep a website running full tilt. It's been
very difficult to just find the time to make new themes. I
did acquire a Screensaver Toolkit and will be creating more SS's in the future. A BIG
THANKS to all my CyberFriends from all over the world - you are not that far
away, you are right here in my heart.
MARCH 23, 2000:
I Have done a lot of renovations to the site I hope
you find it easier to find what you are looking for. As of now, I
have dabbled in making WinAmp, ICQ+ and HotBar Skins so it's alot
of fun to use all the new and interesting programs. Thanks again
for stopping in. ANNOUNCING... my new domain and new
website name 5/1/2000. Corabur Themes is now Corabur 2000

Still Going... Alot of changes have taken place.
Corabur 2000 has grown by leaps and bounds. Im making Wallpaper
now. Please see my Wallpaper Gallery when you get a chance. Again

Still Here... The site keeps growing and growing.
There are more and more Theme Creators popping up and making their
dent in this field. I haven't had a chance to make much of
anything lately, kind of a hiatis for the brain. There is a new
Guestbook that is located on the main page bottom, you will find a
Pencil Sharpener as an indicator. Hope you all have a great
year!!!
NOVEMBER 2002: I have decided to
redesign (color-wise) the website, so you will all see changes
taking place here and there. Thank you all for your continued
support!
FEBRUARY 13, 2003: As much is
going on the world at present, I find that it is much of a release
to be able to sit down at the keyboard and work on my website. Im
almost finished updating my pages with the "new" look
and continue to seek out new themes, etc links for my visitors.
This website is coming up on Five Years now, maybe it's not as
fancy as some of the others on the WWW, but to me it's quite an
accomplishment. I added a new GOOGLE Site Search this past
year, I hope it is helpful to you. Thanks again, for taking the
time to visit.
MARCH 29, 2003: Sad news, my Butch
had to be put down last Saturday. and I really miss that cat, he
was always at my side and in my lap at the computer. Because of
all the stuff that's been going on, along with the war in Iraq, I
missed my Five Year Anniversary of this website. I want to thank
you all for the support through visits.
OCTOBER 2003: If you are all
wondering about these Red Portal Buttons stuck everywhere on the
site, click on one and it leads you to one of the biggest and best
selection of PC enhancements on the internet. In fact, I did away
with my NEW LISTINGS Page because you will find all that
information at the Portal.
OCTOBER 2005: My goodness..... Two
years have gone by since i last updated. Not much has changed. I
just want to thank you all for your continuing support. My mom
passed away last year, now i think im ready to get back to work
here at the site. My cats are doing just fine, and i have a new
computer.
DECEMBER 2006: I have to admit, I
haven't done much to improve my website this year, I got bit by a
tick, summer of '05 and got Lymes Disease, however, im doing much
better and intend on doing some renovations soon
AUGUST 2008: Hi its been a couple
years since ive journaled here. I guess I've been busier than i
realized. The lyme's disease is much better and my eyesight is
greatly improved. Im back at the keyboard creating new PC
Enhancements... Keep your eyes open for my new files. Hope you
like the NEW Layout for the Main Page. Im still fine tuning it...
