| Here is a little information to help you install your new WinAmp Skins: |
| If you are looking for WinAmp MP3 Player Program, click on the
WinAmp Banner at the top of this page or the button directly below. I really enjoy the MP3 sounds
that come from this little creation.
INSTALLATION OF SKINS: I have created a sub-Folder named "skins" set up in my WinAmp Folder. ie; I download my skins to this path: c:\Program Files (86)\Winamp\Skins* After I'm finished downloading the skin I want, all I have to do is open or run my WinAmp program. As soon as the program is up on the screen, all I need to do to access my skins list is click alt+s, this opens up the dialog box shown below. (Note: There is no need to unzip the file, WinAmp reads the information as is.)
To choose the skin to preview in Winamp, I highlight the name and then click Close. That's it! I hope this info helps you, I really enjoy creating new and interesting skins. Below is a link where you can find more information, links to other related items, and some more great skins.
